This month Useful Social Media brought together leaders and more importantly practitioners in social media from major brands in New York and as well San Francisco. We had the pleasure to work with them to capture their story with video. We believe video plays an instrumental role in creating local conversations for brands. We hired a producer from our network of thousands of producers in New York to interview some of the top brands so we could get their thoughts on how video plays into social media, within a few days it was turned around as the centerpiece for my panel presentation in San Francisco. The feedback was that it was amazing that it could be filmed, edited and presented in such a short time and help advance the understanding of the audience.
While their were dozens of major brands presenting (24Hour Fitness, eBay, Mercedes, Whole Foods) our team did a video sprint to capture additional interviews of leaders at the San Francisco conference and in less than 24 hours posted through our latest product offering MOBZxpress a video microsite that shared 4 stories that conveyed the major take-aways from the conference. It was a great team effort. Here is a short summary of the 2012 Useful Social Media event that concluded just last week.
