Your privacy is important to us. MediaMobz respects your privacy and is committed to treating your personal information with the utmost care. We will never share information gathered through the MediaMobz website (the “Site”) with any third party nor use that information outside of the context of this Site without your permission.

Although MediaMobz respects the privacy of all those who visit the Site and use our online services, we do collect information from our members and visitors. By submitting personal information through the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the processing of your personal information according to this Privacy Policy.

Registration information

Personal information is all information pertaining to the user that is directly editable through his or her Profile pages, including, for example, the user’s name, email address and biography. We collect personal information that users submit to us voluntarily through the Site. On MediaMobz, registered members are identified as a “Buyer” or “Producer”; a member can move back and forth between both roles. Registered Buyers and Producers determine the amount and type of information they want to keep private or make public. Because this is an open marketplace, however, we ask members to disclose a little bit about themselves, such as a short bio, location, company name or a list of skills.

Partner sites

MediaMobz is an affiliate of Outhink, Inc., which also operates the Ourmedia.org website. If you register on any of these sites, you may choose to have your account information pre-populated on these partner sites for your convenience. Account information may be shared internally to facilitate cross-domain authentication between Outhink, Inc.’s existing websites and services and those we may create in the future.

Communications and third parties

When you register, MediaMobz asks you whether you would like us to send you occasional email newsletters, surveys or special offers. We also ask whether you would like to receive offers from third parties. In both cases, you have the opportunity to opt in or opt out by checking or unchecking the boxes on your Registration form. At any time, after you have joined, you may change your options by checking or unchecking the boxes on your Dashboard page. (If you have questions about this, please contact us.)

For registered members who agree to receive information about outside services and products, these third parties are required not to use your personal information other than to provide the services and products requested by MediaMobz and are bound by confidentiality agreements with regard to their use of such information. By opting in, you expressly consent to the sharing of your personal information with our contractors and third party service providers for the sole purpose of providing services and products to you. Again, you may opt out of receiving such offers at any time. While we encourage all third parties to adhere to our policies regarding the privacy of our visitors and members and to otherwise handle personal information in a responsible manner, we cannot and do not assume any responsibility for any actions or omissions of third parties, including the manner in which they use information received either from MediaMobz or independently. In the event you encounter any third party associated with, or who claims to be associated with, MediaMobz that you feel is improperly collecting or using information about you, please contact us and we will be happy to forward your message to the third party in question and take appropriate action.

Your Rights

MediaMobz relies on personal data collected during the registration process to communicate with Users that chose to opt in. This personal identifiable information is also associated with an individual’s User Account to support collaboration features offered by the Service. You have the right to request access to your personal identifiable information, as well as to seek to update, delete or correct this personal identifiable information. You can do this using the tools provided in your Service’s User Account.

Tracking and private logging

We do not monitor the domain name or IP address of those who visit the Site, except in aggregate totals so that we know how many people are visiting.

We do not track your movements. When you log in, we will set a temporary cookie that identifies you during your session so that you don’t need to log in again when you post a comment or return to the Site. This session cookie will expire when you log out or when your browser exits, depending on your settings. You may wish to clear these cookies and the browser cache if you wish to refrain from revealing any identifying information, especially if you are using a public or shared computer. We do not store permanent cookies on your computer.

Any time you visit a page on the Internet, you send quite a bit of information to a server. The web servers that host this Site maintain access logs with the information that you send. This information is used to provide Site statistics and to get an idea of popular pages and what sites link here. We do not use these logs to identify legitimate users. The data logged may be used by us to solve technical problems with the Site and, in cases of abuse of this Site, to investigate the abuse.

Regarding children

MediaMobz is not for children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from or about visitors who are under the age of 13. Before registering for membership with MediaMobz, we ask that children have their parents read our Privacy Policy. Before and during the registration process, we encourage children to include a parent or guardian in the process. This Site complies with the U.S. Children Online Protection Act (COPA).

Data Retention Policy

The Service stores personal and media data collected and input by users for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and kept for no longer than necessary for the purposes of processing. The Service stores this media and personal identifiable information data on behalf of users as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was originally collected.

A user can upload, modify, and delete media and user profile information. MediaMobz does not intermediate on behalf of a user the deletion, access, or transfer requests as a user has full access to media and personal identifiable information. Users have full control of the media and their personal identifiable information they generate and input, this includes the ability to modify and delete all of it.

The deletion of user-owned media and user-account information held by the Service is immediate. Upon deletion of media and an account, no user-owned media or user account personal identifiable information is retained by the Service. Personal identifiable information data, user-owned media, and user-account information that is collected and processed by the Service is not held or further used unless for reasons that are clearly stated and agreed to in advance by the MediaMobz Privacy Policy. The Terms of Service (https://mediamobz.com/terms/) amplify permitted use of the service. Acceptance of these two policies is required by MediaMobz’s click-through license at the time of account registration.

Data retention by Third-Party Services is specified by MediaMobz’s Third-Party Data Retention policy.

Data Archival and Removal Policy

The deletion of user-owned media and user-account information held by the Service is immediate. Service data archival in the form of backups that contains user-owned media or user-account personal identifiable information has a 30-day retention period after which its data is no longer held or available for access.

Data Storage Policy

User media and user account content is stored securely by the Service in the USA on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and data processing equipment. Dissemination of Media on behalf of customers by the Service is offered to customers in the form of AWS CloudFront edge services available to customers on a world-wide basis.

Upon deletion of the user media and account information, data is removed immediately and permanently. In accordance with our Data Archival and Removal Policy, Service data is archived for a period of 30-days, after which it ceases to be held or available for access.

Data Release Policy

Our policy is to release the data we collect in the following circumstances:

  1. As required by law, such as in response to a valid request from law enforcement.
  2. To designated third parties to resolve or investigate abuse complaints.
  3. When the information is related to spiders or bots, usually when investigating technical issues.
  4. For abusive users, we may release information to assist in attempting to block the abusive user or to file a complaint with that user’s Internet Service Provider.
  5. If necessary, to defend legal claims against us by third parties.
  6. When we deem it necessary to protect the property or rights of the user community, or this website.
